I have over 25 years of experience in managing, litigating, and resolving complex litigation.
I began my legal career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Colorado Attorney General’s office, where I worked on the tobacco litigation, multistate antitrust matters, and consumer protection cases throughout the state.
After that, I transitioned into private practice, where, as a partner at three different law firms, I ran complex class actions and cases brought by state attorneys general and local governments. I had leadership roles on some of the largest and most impactful cases, many of which involved health care and the pharmaceutical industry. (For my full CV click here.)
What I can do for you.
My experience can make your experience in complex litigation better from beginning to end. Some of the things I can help you do include:
Evaluating case “pitches” and potential litigation
Helping you decide whether to become involved in a complex case, and how to best position yourself if you do
Providing an independent evaluation of responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for outside counsel
Acting as a “fractional” general counsel by overseeing outside counsel teams in litigation, freeing up your staff to work on other cases and pursue policy work within the office
Reviewing budgets and invoices submitted by outside counsel and/or vendors
